Allow or turn off push notifications on your phone
Choose whether the phone app can send you notifications, and change the size of the Monitor.
Push notifications are messages the phone app sends you, even when it is closed. This article also shows how to change the size of the Monitor.
This is for the phone app, which is limited.
Allow notifications
The first time you sign in, the app shows Enable Push Notifications ("Get timely alerts for updates, reminders, and important messages.").
Tap Allow Notifications
Tap Allow Notifications. Your phone may ask you to confirm. Tap Allow.
Continue
The app opens on Monitor.
If your phone's own settings block notifications for the app, the app can't send them. Change this in your phone's settings.
Turn off notifications
Open the question again
Tap More, then Push notifications. The Enable Push Notifications screen comes back.
Say no
Tap I don't want notifications. The app stops sending notifications to this phone.
To allow them again, repeat the steps and tap Allow Notifications.
Choose which messages you get
You can switch off kinds of notifications, such as clip card messages. Go to the Notifications tab and tap Choose. Types you untick don't show in the list or as push messages. See Read and choose your notifications.
Change the Monitor size
Open Monitor size
Tap More, then Monitor size.
Choose a size
Tap Small, Medium or Large.
