Publish and sell clip cards online
Publish a product, then choose which menu shows it in your online store and what customers fill in at checkout.
A clip card can only be issued or sold once its product is published. To sell online you also turn on a clip card menu for your online store.
Publish a product
You need the Products permission with publish access. Managers have it.
Open Products
In the menu, open Clip Card, then Products. The Status column shows Draft, Published or Unpublished.
Publish
Open the ⋯ menu of the product and click Activate / publish product. You see Product published.
To stop selling a product, open the same menu and click Unpublish product. A published product can't be deleted until you unpublish it.
Only published products can be issued. This is true for one card and for many cards. The card picker also lists unpublished products, marked Unpublished, but issuing one fails.
After you save a product, it can take a few minutes before changes show on your website.
Choose where clip cards are sold
Sales channels are menus. Each product belongs to a menu, and each menu says where it appears.
Open Sales Channels
Open Sales Channels in the menu. You need the Payments permission with write access. Managers have it.
Open your menu
Click a menu to edit it. To make a new one, click Add menu. A menu is created for you with your first product.
Turn on Customer online
Under Visibility, turn on Customer online to show the menu in your online store. The other choices are Customer on-site, Point of sale, Kiosk, Food hall online, Food hall on-site and Food hall kiosk.
Choose checkout options
Under Checkout options, turn on the details customers fill in when they buy, for example Name, Phone or Email.
Save
Click Save. For a new menu, enter a Title (English) first and click Create menu. You can also add a Title (Icelandic).
You can delete a menu from its edit window, but not your last one. Clip cards need at least one menu.

See your online store
The Onboarding checklist step Preview it online shows a link to your store once Customer online is on. It is built from your company's page name and ends in /order.
