Read the company dashboard

See what was sold and spent in a period, and what your cards are still worth today.

The company dashboard is the first page you see (Overview, also under Analytics → Company). It shows what was sold and spent in a period, and what your cards are still worth today.

Choose a period

Pick Today, 7 days, 30 days (the default), This month, Last month, or Custom for any dates. Days are whole days and include today.

Choose a location (if you have several)

The location picker appears when your company has two or more locations. It only narrows the redemption figures. A card is not sold at a location, so sales stay company-wide.

Read the comparison

Under most figures you see +x% vs previous period: the same number for the period of equal length just before the one you picked. It is not the same period last year.

The six headline figures

  • Sold: the value of every card created in the period, whether sold online, issued by hand, in a bulk order or waiting to be activated. It counts cards by the day they were created, not the day they were paid, so it is not the same as money received.
  • Cards sold: how many cards were created in the period.
  • Redeemed: the value spent from gift cards in the period. That is any card spent at your company (including Dineout and Sinna cards), plus your own cards spent at other places. With a location chosen it becomes Redeemed at ….
  • Redemptions: how many times a card was used in the period.
  • Avg. redemption: Redeemed divided by Redemptions, the typical amount taken per visit.
  • Outstanding balance: what is left right now on your cards that can still be spent today. It ignores the period and the location. Treat it as money you still owe customers in meals or services, not as income. The line underneath shows how much of it expires in the next 30 days.

Tips

  • Hover over a rounded figure such as 12.4M to see the exact amount.
  • The period and location are kept in the page address, so you can bookmark or share a view.
  • Cards moved over from the old gift card system keep their original date, so they appear in the period they were first sold.
