Users, roles and permissions
Add people and decide what they can see and do in GiftCard Manager.
System → Users is where you add people and decide what they can see and do. Managers can do everything; Staff users get exactly the permissions you tick.
Permissions

| Create cards | Issue single cards and bulk orders. |
| Cards | The card list, card details and history. |
| Orders | Orders and their details. |
| Products | Read: see products and delivery options. Write: create, edit and delete them. |
| Card design | Read: see the card design. Write: change it. |
| Transactions | The transaction list. |
| Settings | Read: see card expiry and code display. Write: change them. |
| Card actions | Re-send email, change recipient, block and unblock cards, and activate orders. |
| Print & reveal codes | Print cards and orders, and reveal a hidden code with a PIN. |
| Payments | Pay orders with a saved card, and manage sales channels. |
| Scan | Look a card up and see its balance. |
| Redeem | Take an amount off a card (includes Scan). |
| Dineout & Sinna GiftCards | Buy Dineout and Sinna gift cards for the company. |
Tips
- Staff with only Scan and/or Redeem get the simple till screen, ideal for the floor.
- This page only changes gift card permissions. A person's access to other Dineout products is left alone.
- If someone cannot find a page or a button, check their permissions here first.
