Quickstart in 3 steps
Go from a fresh account to a working gift card in about five minutes.
Issue a card to yourself, open the email, then redeem part of its balance. It takes about five minutes.
Issue a test card to yourself
Open Gift Cards → New (or the + button at the top of every page). Pick a value and enter your own name and email under Recipient.
Keep Send gift card via email to recipient(s) ticked and press Issue Gift Card. With Activate card immediately after creation left on, the card is ready straight away.
Open the email
The recipient gets the card by email, in the language chosen on the order. The email has the code, a QR code, Add to Apple Wallet / Google Wallet buttons and a PDF of the card attached.
Redeem part of the balance
Press the card button at the top of the page (Redeem). Enter the code, or press Scan to read the QR code.
Choose an amount under Claim amount and press Redeem amount. The rest stays on the card.
A gift card behaves like a small bank account, not a discount code: it has a balance that is drawn down every time it is used.
Test cards are real cards and show up in your numbers. Block them when you are done.
