Settings: expiry and card codes
Choose when new gift cards expire and how much of a card's code staff can see.
Settings holds two company-wide choices: when new cards expire, and how much of a card's code staff can see.
Card expiry
Expire after a number of months, or Never expire. This applies to new cards; cards already issued keep their date.
Card codes
| Option | What staff see |

| Hidden | No code in the card list or details. Staff who can print reveal it with their own PIN. |
| Masked | Only the last 4 characters, enough to tell cards apart. The PIN reveals the full code. |
| Show | The full code for everyone who can see cards, without a PIN. |
For some companies Dineout sets these for security, and they cannot be changed.
