Redeem a card at the till
Look up a gift card, check its balance and take an amount off it.
Use the card button at the top of the page (or open Redeem). Look the card up, check its balance, and take an amount off it. A card can be used many times until the balance is zero.
Look the card up
Type the code and press Search, or press Scan and point the camera at the QR code.
Check it
You see whether the card is valid, its balance and its product. A card that is blocked, expired or belongs to another company is refused with a message.
Redeem
Enter the amount under Claim amount (or use the slider, which stops at the balance) and press Redeem amount.
The screen clears itself after a few seconds, ready for the next guest.
Tips
- You can never take more than the balance.
- Staff with only Scan permission can look a card up and see its balance, but not redeem. See Users, roles and permissions.
- The camera needs your permission in the browser.
