Create gift card products
Set up gift cards that customers can buy online, with a name, description, picture and price.
A product is a gift card customers can buy online, for example a fixed-value card or a "dinner for two". It has its own name, description, picture and price.
Create it
Go to Gift Cards → Products → New product. Give it a name and a price.
Fill it in
Click the product to edit it. Add a name and description in English and Íslenska, a product image, the price (and optionally its cost, to see your margin) and an internal code.
Publish it
Turn on Published and choose the Menus it appears in. A product shows up for sale only when it is published and in at least one menu.
Tips
- The product's name, in the card's language, is printed on the card's email, PDF and wallet pass.
- Changing a product does not change cards already issued.
- On the issue page a product is optional. You can always issue a card for any amount.
