Send no-show claims to Inkasso

Connect your Inkasso account and send a claim for a customer who didn't show up.

If you use Dineout for appointments, you can send a claim to Inkasso for a customer who didn't show up. This is only available for some companies.

Connect Inkasso

Open Inkasso

In Settings, open Integrations, then Inkasso.

Sign up with Inkasso

If you are not connected yet, you see Get started with Inkasso. Sign up for Inkasso Strax in the form on the page. Inkasso sends you your login details.

Enter your details

Fill in Username, Password and Claimant ID. The Claimant ID is your company kennitala. Dineout hides the password. It may look longer than the one you typed, because it is stored encrypted.

Save

Click Save. You see "Inkasso settings saved".

When it works you see "Your Inkasso integration is active and ready to create claims." If you see "Your Inkasso provider is configured but currently disabled." the claims can't be created.

To change your details, edit them and click Update. Click Remove to disconnect Inkasso.

Send a claim

You can only send a claim if Inkasso is connected and the customer has an SSN (kennitala) on their profile.

Open the no-show

In the customers area, find the no-show payments list and open the appointment.

Choose Send to collection

Click Send to collection. The card says "Create an Inkasso claim using the customer's SSN".

Confirm the claim

Check the amount and confirm.

You see "Inkasso claim created".
