Connect Business Central with the Open API
Connect your restaurant to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with a pairing code.
You can connect Dineout to Business Central through the Dineout Open API. You make a pairing code in Dineout and paste it into Business Central.
This is only available for companies that have the Open API feature turned on. If you don't have it, the page says the feature is unavailable. Ask Dineout to turn it on.
Only an admin can connect or disconnect Business Central. Everyone else can see the status.
Connect Business Central
Open Open API
In Settings, open Integrations, then Open API. You see Dineout Open API and Business Central connection.
Generate a code
Click Enable integration & generate pairing code. A code appears.
Copy the code
Click Copy. You see "Pairing code copied to clipboard".
Paste it in Business Central
Paste the code in the Business Central setup wizard.
The code can be used once and works for about 10 minutes. If it expires, click Generate a new pairing code.
Before you connect you see "Not connected to Business Central yet." After you connect it says "Connected to Business Central since" with the date. Small labels show what Business Central is allowed to do.
Disconnect Business Central
Click Revoke access
Click Revoke access.
Confirm
Confirm in the window Revoke Business Central access. This immediately disconnects Business Central from this restaurant.
You can connect again any time with a new pairing code.
