Change your online colours

Set the colours used when customers order from you online.

You can set your brand colours in two places. Which ones you see depends on what your company uses.

Colour palette

In Settings, open Company, then Color palette. The page says it is for "settings when selling your menus online".

Choose a colour

Each colour has a box with a # in front. Type a 6-character colour code, for example FF8800, or click the picker icon in the box and choose a colour.

Check for errors

A wrong code shows "Invalid color format", and Save is disabled until you fix it.

Save

Click Save. You see "Settings updated".

The colours you can set are:

ColourText colour that goes with it
PrimaryOn Primary
SecondaryOn Secondary
BackgroundOn Background
SurfaceOn Surface
Surface SecondaryOn Surface Secondary
ErrorOn Error
Link

You can leave a box empty, except Primary. If Primary is empty, it is saved as the dark grey #333333.

Online orders theme

Companies that take online orders also have Online orders theme under Settings, in the Sales group. It is shown only for online ordering.

  • Color mode: Light or Dark. Every other colour starts from it.
  • Brand colour: Primary and Primary text. Leave empty to use the mode's colour.
  • Customise details: set a colour for one part of the page, such as Background, Active link, Inactive link, Button, Cart button, Input, Active and Card title. Clear a field to go back to following the main colour.

A Preview shows your choices. If two colours are hard to read together, a low-contrast warning appears.

The two pages are separate. Changing one does not change the other.
