Users for groups and chains
How organization users work across several companies and how they switch between them.
If you run several companies under one organization, some of your users can log in once and move between them. These are organization users.
Organization users are set up by Dineout. To add one, see Contact Dineout.
What an organization user is
An organization user belongs to the organization, not to a single company. They also have access to each company in the organization. They are managed at the organization level, so they don't appear in one company's normal user list.
Dineout staff can see them in a separate Organization users list on each company. They are marked Organization.
Switch to another company
A user with an organization sees a switch button next to the company name at the top of the screen.
Open the switcher
Click the switch button next to your company name.
Choose a company
In Change Restaurant, type in Search by name or ID and choose the company.
Wait for it to reload
Dineout Partner reloads and opens the start page for the chosen company. Your chosen location is reset.
On the mobile app, open More, tap Switch company profile and choose the company.
You can only switch to companies in your own organization. Users without an organization don't see the switch button.
