Accept or decline booking requests

Review bookings that are waiting for your answer and accept or decline them.

Some bookings need your approval before they are confirmed. These are called requests. They have the status Reserved until you answer.

See your requests

Open the calendar and click Requests on the side. A number on the button shows how many are waiting. Requests are grouped by day, with the earliest first. If there are none, it says "No unconfirmed appointments".

Each request shows the customer, when it was made, the date and time, the number of guests, the services and any answers the customer gave when booking.

Accept a request

Click Accept on the request. The customer is told by email or SMS if those are switched on by default in your settings. See Let customers know about changes.

Decline a request

Open the request

Click the request to open it.

Change the status

In the Appointment status list, choose Declined.

Confirm

A window asks Are you sure? Choose whether to notify the customer, add a message if you like, and click Confirm.

Changes requested by a customer

If a customer changes a confirmed appointment themselves and the change needs your approval, the status is Reserved after change and it appears in Requests. See Customers changing their own time.
