Read the booking icons
Learn what the small icons on each booking in the timeline mean.
Bookings in the timeline show small icons in the top right corner. Hover over an icon to see its text.
| Icon means | Shown when |
|---|---|
| Hold | The booking is on hold, for example the guest has not finished booking online. |
| Combo booking | The booking uses more than one table. See Combine tables for larger groups. |
| Online booking | The guest booked through your website or the Dineout marketplace. |
| Hotel booking | The booking came from a hotel or agent. |
| Dietary restrictions | The guest has allergies or dietary restrictions. Hover to read them. |
| Customer note | There is a note on the guest's customer profile. Hover to read it. |
| Info | The booking has a guest note or an internal note. Hover to read them. |
| Card registered | The guest has registered a card, so a no show fee can be charged. |
| Menu | The booking has one or more menus. Hover to see the name. |
| Event | The booking is for an event. Hover to see the event name. |
| Paid | A no show fee has been paid (No-Show paid and the date), or a pre-payment has been paid (Prepaid and the date). |
Where sources come from
Online means the booking source is your website or the Dineout marketplace. Hotel means the source is Agent or Other. See Where your bookings come from.
Greyed out bookings
A booking that a guest started online and has not finished is greyed out and can't be opened until it is complete.
