Change online ordering settings
Set delivery areas and prices, minimum order amounts, how customers pick a time, and email alerts for new orders.
The Online orders settings control how customers order from you online. The page is titled Online Food Orders.
Open the settings
Go to Settings, then Online orders under Sales. Change what you need and click Save at the top.
You cannot save until Minimum amount for delivery and the default delivery price are filled in. You also need at least one location.
Delivery
- Select cities opens Choose cities and delivery prices. Set a Default delivery price, then use Add cities to choose the cities (by zip code) you deliver to. Each city can have its own Price. If you leave it empty, the default price is used. Click Ok when you are done.
- Minimum amount for delivery is the smallest order value for delivery.
- Free delivery over amount: switch it on and enter the order value above which delivery is free.
Take Away
- Exclude waiting time from availability: when on, your waiting time is not counted when Dineout works out which times customers can pick. See Set waiting and delivery times.
Other
- Minimum amount for online order: the smallest order value for any online order.
- User permission ("Receive email when new order arrives"): who gets an email for each new order. Choose None, Manager, Staff or Everyone.
- Customer time selection: how customers choose a time. Choose Now and Schedule, Now, Schedule or None.
- Message: text shown to customers who visit your order page.
- Show timepicker popup on visit: opens the time picker when the customer arrives. It is switched off for you if you choose None for time selection.
Cloud Printers
You can also connect a receipt printer here. Enter the Receipt printer MAC address, choose a Restaurant Location (if you have more than one), a Printer Location such as Kitchen (main), and a Paper width of Normal or Small. Use Copies to print 1 to 5 copies. Click the + icon to add another printer.
