Make QR codes for tables
Design QR codes that open your on-site ordering page for a table, and export them as images to print.
A guest scans the QR code at their table and orders from their phone. Each code opens your on-site ordering page for that table. You design the codes and export them as pictures to print.
Make QR codes
Open QR
Go to Settings, then QR under Sales.
Choose a layout
Under Generate your QR codes, click one of the three layouts.
Add a logo
Choose Use current logo or Upload new logo. Pictures can be up to 2 MB.
Add a title
Type the text that appears on the code, for example "Scan to Order". It can be up to 30 characters.
Choose colours
Set the Background color, Qr-Code color and Text color. They start from your company colours.
Add the tables
Choose a Section (optional), type a table name such as "Table 1" and press Enter or click Add. Repeat for each table. Names can be up to 17 characters. Clear Tables removes them all.
Check the preview
The Live Preview shows the code you are working on. Under Validate and export you can click through all the codes.
Export
Click Export with the number of graphics. Dineout downloads one picture (PNG) for each table.
Use real tables from your floor plan
If you have a floor plan with tables, tick Choose real tables from a floor plan (adds a per-table QR). Pick a floor plan if you have several, pick a table and click Add.
What the code opens
The code opens your on-site ordering page with the table name filled in. If you choose a section, it opens the part of the menu in that section. See Categories and sections.
The Preview URL above the preview shows the exact link.
